JANA GANA MANA was written by RABINDRANATH TAGORE in Bengali.
It was accepted  as national anthem on 27th December 1911. We completed 101 years to our national anthem  just yesterday…
ALL of us have a knowledge of the history of JANA GANA MANA since it is made compulsory to be sung in every  school. Many of us will be remembering it twice a year i.e on INDEPENDENCE DAY and REPUBLIC DAY.
BUT, MOST OF US DON’T KNOW THE MEANING OF OYR NATIONAL ANTHEM. IT IS OUR DUTY AS A CITIZEN OF INDIA TO KNOW ABOUT OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM. If any foreigner asks us what is the meaning of your national anthem we should be in a position to say……..
